A nitro stout faucet is the tap you fit when you serve nitrogen beers or nitro coffee on draft and want the pour to build a dense, creamy head every time. Its body is narrower than a standard beer faucet, and a restrictor disc inside forces the liquid through fast enough to break out the nitrogen and form the signature cascade on a Guinness, Murphy's or a cold brew.

The whole faucet is 304 stainless steel, not chrome-plated brass, which matters when you push acidic drinks like coffee through it day after day. The lever pulls forward to pour and pushes back for creamer, so bar staff get the correct two-stage nitro pour without extra kit.

  • All-304 stainless construction, food-grade and corrosion-resistant for coffee acidity
  • Removable restrictor disc — swap to a CO2 setup for traditional beers
  • G5/8 thread, compatible with standard shanks and beer towers
  • 3/8" O.D. gas port barb to fit 5/16" I.D. gas hose
  • Ships with a standard black plastic tap handle; custom logo available

Home brewers and nitro coffee fans get the same pour a bar does. Fit this faucet to a kegerator or keezer, load a nitrogen or beer-gas setup, and pull a proper cascading stout or a creamy cold brew at home. Because it's all 304 stainless, it handles coffee's acidity without leaking or plating off, and the restrictor disc lifts out if you later want to run a standard CO2 beer.

Frequently asked questions

What does the restrictor disc in a nitro faucet actually do?

It forces the beer through a plate of tiny holes fast enough to break the nitrogen back out of solution, which is what builds the cascade. A nitro faucet without that disc pours like any ordinary tap, so a standard faucet on a stout keg simply will not do it.

What gas and pressure do I need behind it?

Beer gas at roughly 70% nitrogen to 30% CO2 for stouts, pure nitrogen for cold brew, both run at 30-40 psi rather than the 8-15 psi of a plain CO2 line. The gas port is a 3/8 inch O.D. barb for 5/16 inch I.D. hose.

Can the same faucet serve standard CO2 beer?

Take the restrictor disc out and it pours as a normal tap on a standard CO2 line, so the hardware carries over when the keg changes. G5/8 thread fits standard shanks and beer towers, commercial or kegerator.

Why stainless rather than chrome-plated brass for coffee?

Plating wears at the seat and around the threads under daily cleaning, and once it goes the drink meets the brass underneath. This faucet is 304 stainless throughout, food-grade, with no plating to lose.

Is a nitrogen regulator included, and what fitting does it need?

The regulator is separate. Nitro dispensing sits on a nitrogen-side regulator with a CGA-580 fitting, which will not thread onto a CO2 cylinder, so budget for that alongside the gas.

Which version should I order, and can it carry our branding?

Choose faucet only, with flow control valve, with ball lock connector, or with elbow shank at the variant picker, and state the configuration on the order. Custom logo work is available on request.

Is shipping included in the price?

For in-stock items — anything you can add to the cart — shipping is included in the listed price. For made-to-order items, delivery is either free (marked on the product page) or calculated when you place your order, based on destination and volume.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock items typically arrive within one to three weeks. Made-to-order items take three to six weeks, since we work directly with manufacturers and need time for production and logistics before shipping. Your assigned manager confirms a more precise estimate once your order is placed. Please note we can't be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country.

Are import duties and taxes included?

In most cases, yes — we aim to ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means duties and import taxes are handled so you don't face extra charges on delivery. In rare cases we may ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), where you would settle import charges directly with the carrier — but only when agreed with you in advance.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Most of our equipment comes with a one-to-two-year manufacturer's warranty covering factory defects and technical faults under normal use; the specific term is stated on each product page. If a defect appears, we arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Exchange & Return Policy, and our team guides you through the claim step by step.
