Frequently asked questions

What's in the home coffee bar today?

The hand kit — manual and automatic tampers, a distributor and WDT needles. Grinders and machines sized for a house follow; the ones we stock now are built for café throughput.

Do commercial barista tools fit a home machine?

The tool follows the basket, not the machine — 58 mm is the common size and fits most prosumer portafilters. Tell us yours and we'll confirm before order.

Where do I start building one?

With the grind and the tamp rather than the machine. An uneven puck spoils a shot on any machine, and the tools that fix it cost a fraction of the espresso maker.
