A vertical hydraulic baler is a floor-standing waste compactor that presses loose recyclables — cardboard, PET bottles, aluminum cans, waste film, foam and industrial scrap — into dense, strapped bales. For any venue that generates volume packaging waste, from a busy bar back-of-house to a warehouse or production floor, it turns sprawling piles into stackable, transportable units and reclaims up to 80% of the space that loose waste would otherwise eat.

Operation is straightforward: material is hand-loaded, the platen is driven down by the hydraulic ram at the push of a button, and an anti-rebound barb holds the compaction while the platen returns to position on its own.
