This island range hood is a downdraft extraction unit built for open-plan and island cooking layouts, where an overhead canopy would break sightlines. It uses a tabletop lifting mechanism that raises the extraction panel from flush with the counter when cooking starts and lowers it out of the way afterward, so the workspace stays clean and uncluttered between services. That makes it a fit for demonstration kitchens, chef's-table setups, boutique hotel suites and premium residential-style venues where the cooktop sits on an island.

The unit draws up to 26 m³/min and holds 1050 Pa of static pressure, enough to capture steam and grease at the source across a busy cooktop. Internal recirculation variants filter and return air to the room, so the hood works where no duct run is available; ducted variants exhaust from the bottom on the left, right or center. A tempered-glass control face with wave (gesture) control lets staff adjust extraction without touching a greasy panel.

  • Extraction up to 26 m³/min at 1050 Pa static pressure
  • Motorized tabletop lifting panel that stows flush with the counter
  • Internal-recirculation and bottom-exhaust configurations
  • Sprayed-steel and tempered-glass body with wave gesture control
  • Level One energy efficiency rating; up to 95% odor reduction

Configuration options span color, exhaust routing and integrated cooktops (dual-burner induction or two-gas-one-electric with an electronic timer), so the unit can be specified to match the counter and fuel already in place. Contact us to confirm the right variant for your layout.

For a home island kitchen, this hood keeps the cooktop free of a bulky overhead canopy. The panel rises from the countertop when you start cooking and lowers flush when you're done, and internal recirculation means it can run without a duct to the outside — useful in apartments and open-plan layouts where ducting isn't practical. Wave gesture control on the tempered-glass face lets you change extraction with a hand movement, and the recirculation mode reduces up to 95% of everyday cooking odors.

Frequently asked questions

Can it run without a duct to the outside?

Internal-recirculation variants do exactly that — they filter the air and return it to the room, cutting up to 95% of cooking odors. Bottom-exhaust variants duct out from the bottom left, right or center, so pick the routing before you order.

How does the lifting panel behave in service?

The extraction panel sits flush with the countertop and rises motorized when cooking starts, then lowers away afterward. Between services the island reads as bare counter, with no canopy interrupting sightlines over a chef's table.

Is 26 m³/min enough for a busy island cooktop?

At 26 m³/min with 1050 Pa of static pressure, it captures steam and grease at the source across a full cooktop — the static pressure is what lets a downdraft pull plume sideways rather than losing it to the room.

What cutout and depth does the island need?

Plan for 895 mm wide, 580 mm deep and 330 mm of body height below the counter. The depth is the figure to check first — island carcasses are often shallower than the 580 mm this unit needs.

Does it come with a cooktop, or is that separate?

Both routes exist. Hood-only versions ship without a cooktop; integrated versions pair it with dual-burner induction or a two-gas-one-electric stove, some with an electronic timer. State the cooktop and exhaust routing together when ordering.

What finish and controls does it ship with?

Sprayed steel, tempered glass and stainless steel, in dark-night black or moonlight white to match the counter. The tempered-glass face uses wave gesture control, so staff adjust extraction with greasy hands and never touch it. Warranty is 1 year.

Is shipping included in the price?

For in-stock items — anything you can add to the cart — shipping is included in the listed price. For made-to-order items, delivery is either free (marked on the product page) or calculated when you place your order, based on destination and volume.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock items typically arrive within one to three weeks. Made-to-order items take three to six weeks, since we work directly with manufacturers and need time for production and logistics before shipping. Your assigned manager confirms a more precise estimate once your order is placed. Please note we can't be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country.

Are import duties and taxes included?

In most cases, yes — we aim to ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means duties and import taxes are handled so you don't face extra charges on delivery. In rare cases we may ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), where you would settle import charges directly with the carrier — but only when agreed with you in advance.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Most of our equipment comes with a one-to-two-year manufacturer's warranty covering factory defects and technical faults under normal use; the specific term is stated on each product page. If a defect appears, we arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Exchange & Return Policy, and our team guides you through the claim step by step.
