UV-C light does the work: water flows through the stainless chamber around a quartz sleeve that houses the lamp, so it never touches the lamp itself. The UV dose damages microbial DNA so bacteria and viruses cannot replicate.

Rated at 150 m³/h through DN200 (8 inch) inlet and outlet, with the vessel good to 0.6 MPa. Size above your peak flow, not your average, so every drop stays in the chamber long enough to take the full dose.

Pre-filtration, fitted ahead of the unit. Sediment and turbidity shade microorganisms from the lamp, so the clearer the incoming water, the closer the delivered dose is to the rating.

The UV lamp, rated at around 9000 hours — roughly a year of continuous duty, so budget one replacement annually. The auto-cleaning system keeps the quartz sleeve clear between changes so UV transmission holds up.

Choose SS304 or SS316 for the pressure vessel when you order; the UV output is 5000 W on a 220 V supply, so plan the circuit for that load.
