Container Homes & Houseboats

A container home or a houseboat is a finished space delivered to a site with no building on it. Expandable and prefab container houses suit glamping sites, rentals and garden studios; pontoon houseboats and floating cabins put the same idea on water.

Guest cabins & houseboats

Rooms you add rather than build. A glamping cabin on land is a prefab container house that arrives wired and insulated; on a lake or river it is a pontoon houseboat with a cabin on deck. Both are made to order and sized

Frequently asked questions

Does a container home arrive ready to live in?

It arrives finished inside, with the layout and fittings listed on the product page. Foundations, connection to water, power and sewerage, and any planning permission are on the site side, and we say which connections each model expects.

Can a houseboat be used for rental stays?

Yes, and that is the most common use. The rules for mooring and for letting a vessel overnight are local, so check them for your water before ordering.

Can I order a container home for my own garden?

Yes. The same units are listed under Home as well. Send the site access details, because delivery needs space for a truck and usually a crane.
