Force is adjustable from 10 to 30 kg through the LED touch screen, and you can set 1 to 3 press repetitions per cycle. Lighter doses usually sit at the low end; deeper baskets take more force or a second press.

The portafilter holder adjusts for height, so baskets of different depths sit at the correct distance from the press head. Set the holder once for your standard basket and the press repeats to the same depth all service.

The unit measures 26 cm wide, 31 cm deep and 34 cm high, and the modular top accepts a coffee grinder mounted directly on it, so grinding and tamping occupy one footprint instead of two.

Choose black or white; the two finishes are otherwise identical in specification, controls and housing. If you plan to mount a grinder on top, order that separately, as it is not supplied with the tamper.

A 1 Year manufacturer warranty covers the unit, and it applies to both the black and the white finish.
