Whenever the cook line sits out in the floor rather than against a wall. Mounted from the ceiling over a freestanding suite, the canopy captures grease, steam and heat from all four sides, which a wall canopy cannot reach across.
How much air does it move, and what does the room need in return?
≥21 m³/min, roughly ≥741 CFM, on a vented exhaust. It is designed to work with a fresh-air supply path, so plan make-up air into the room rather than letting the hood pull the kitchen into negative pressure.
What is the ongoing cost of keeping the filters working?
Nothing beyond labour — the stainless steel baffle filters lift out and go through the dishwasher, so there is no disposable media to reorder. Run them on a fixed schedule; loaded baffles cost you airflow before they cost you capture.
What has to be specified at order stage?
The plug type — UK, US, EU, CN or AU. Nominate your region's fitting with the order; the 800 W electric drive is otherwise fixed at Class A efficiency.
What footprint should I allow over the suite?
1800 mm of width, in full stainless steel. Height and depth are set by your ceiling drop and duct run, so the canopy is positioned to the layout rather than shipped at one fixed hang.
What support comes with the hood after it lands?
A 1 Year manufacturer warranty, plus onsite installation support for the hang and duct connection and free spare parts.
Is shipping included in the price?
For in-stock items — anything you can add to the cart — shipping is included in the listed price. For made-to-order items, delivery is either free (marked on the product page) or calculated when you place your order, based on destination and volume.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock items typically arrive within one to three weeks. Made-to-order items take three to six weeks, since we work directly with manufacturers and need time for production and logistics before shipping. Your assigned manager confirms a more precise estimate once your order is placed. Please note we can't be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country.
Are import duties and taxes included?
In most cases, yes — we aim to ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means duties and import taxes are handled so you don't face extra charges on delivery. In rare cases we may ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), where you would settle import charges directly with the carrier — but only when agreed with you in advance.

Yes. Most of our equipment comes with a one-to-two-year manufacturer's warranty covering factory defects and technical faults under normal use; the specific term is stated on each product page.
