How much clearance does the flame need above the unit?
Plan for more than 5 m of clear air, since the spray reaches 3–5 m. Nothing — truss, ceiling, drapes, rigging or people — should sit inside that column.
Can I fire it from a lighting console?
DMX512 is built in, so the unit takes cues from a console alongside the rest of the rig. The included remote and manual mode cover standalone use when no desk is patched in.
Is it usable indoors as well as outdoors?
Both are listed applications — stage, club, outdoor and party. Because it burns live LPG, every site needs safe clearances, a trained operator and compliance with local fire and pyrotechnic rules.
