Made to order to your spec — you choose the size and configuration.

A glycol chiller is the cold backbone of a brewery or any process line that needs a steady, low-temperature fluid loop. This unit circulates chilled glycol to hold fermentation tanks, jacketed vessels, or process equipment at a precise setpoint, so a batch behaves the same way every time. A PID microcomputer keeps outlet fluid within ±1°C across the full operating range, which matters when a few degrees of thermal drift can ruin a fermentation.

It runs on a scroll compressor rather than a piston type, so vibration is roughly a fifth of an equivalent reciprocating design — quieter operation and fewer moving parts to wear out. The evaporator is matched to the job rather than fixed: shell-and-tube, tank-type, or plate heat exchanger, chosen by your process fluid and cooling load.

  • Working temperature range of -25°C to 45°C, covering fermentation control through low-temp process cooling.
  • Multi-refrigerant compatible — R134a and R-410A options to meet local environmental rules.
  • Integrated protection: overload, phase-loss, high/low pressure, and anti-freeze, built in rather than added on.
  • Configured to your grid — 220V or 380V, single or three phase — specified before production.

A remote monitoring interface is available for unmanned sites, and the wider platform spans 1HP to 60HP if you need to standardize a whole cooling fleet on one design.

Frequently asked questions

How precisely does the chiller hold glycol temperature?

Within ±1°C at the outlet, held by a PID microcomputer across the full -25°C to 45°C working range — close enough that a fermentation won't drift off setpoint mid-batch.

What do I need to specify before the unit is built?

Three things are set before production, not after: power supply (220V or 380V, single or three phase), refrigerant (R134a or R-410A), and evaporator type. State all three with your order.

Which evaporator should I choose?

Shell-and-tube, tank-type or plate heat exchanger — the choice is driven by your process fluid and cooling load rather than a fixed factory configuration, so give us both figures when specifying.

Why a scroll compressor rather than a piston type?

For continuous duty on a fermentation loop, scroll compression runs at roughly a fifth of the vibration of an equivalent piston design, with fewer moving parts to wear out and noticeably less noise in the cellar.

What protection is built into the unit?

Overload, phase-loss, high/low pressure and anti-freeze protection are integrated into every unit on the floor rather than added as external accessories. The chiller carries CE and is built under ISO9001, with a 1 Year warranty.

What are the dimensions, and can I standardise a whole plant on this design?

The unit measures 1250mm wide by 800mm deep by 1400mm high and draws 3400W. The same platform runs from 1HP to 60HP, so a fleet of chillers can share one design and one set of controls.

Is shipping included in the price?

For in-stock items — anything you can add to the cart — shipping is included in the listed price. For made-to-order items, delivery is either free (marked on the product page) or calculated when you place your order, based on destination and volume.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock items typically arrive within one to three weeks. Made-to-order items take three to six weeks, since we work directly with manufacturers and need time for production and logistics before shipping. Your assigned manager confirms a more precise estimate once your order is placed. Please note we can't be responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in the destination country.

Are import duties and taxes included?

In most cases, yes — we aim to ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means duties and import taxes are handled so you don't face extra charges on delivery. In rare cases we may ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), where you would settle import charges directly with the carrier — but only when agreed with you in advance.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Most of our equipment comes with a one-to-two-year manufacturer's warranty covering factory defects and technical faults under normal use; the specific term is stated on each product page. If a defect appears, we arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Exchange & Return Policy, and our team guides you through the claim step by step.
