Pick by the plot. A container house needs a level pad prepared in advance, with power and water brought to it, and it stays put for years. A houseboat needs a mooring and water deep enough for a 0.35 m draft, and it can move between a jetty and open water. Where you have both a meadow and a shoreline, the two work side by side.
Yes. The modular houses ship as 20 ft or 40 ft modules and bolt together, so a row of guest rooms grows one unit at a time. A 40 ft module can arrive as two bedrooms with a bathroom and a kitchen. Send the site plan and the room count, and we will quote the modules and the fit-out together.
Usually, and the rules are local. A fixed unit on land often falls under planning or building control, and a houseboat under the rules for the waterway and its mooring. We supply the structure and its certificates (CE for the boats); the consent is yours to check before you order.
