The bottom griddle plate is 545 x 450 mm, of which 225 x 410 mm sits under the upper plate for clamshell contact. Run clamshell items in that band and use the remaining bottom plate for eggs, pancakes or holding.

Both plates are stainless steel with a non-stick coating, so food releases cleanly and seared-on residue wipes away without scraping the surface between orders.
