The piston filling machine handles the products that gravity fillers can't: chili sauce, peanut butter, jam and other high-viscosity pastes that need pressure to move. A pneumatic cylinder drives the piston to draw product from the U-type hopper and eject a measured shot through the nozzle, while a three-way steering valve controls flow and a magnetic switch on the cylinder stroke sets the fill volume. Accuracy holds to within 1%, so each can, bottle or pouch gets a consistent portion.
The hopper is double-jacketed and stainless steel, so you can heat product to keep it flowing and run the agitator to hold a paste homogeneous during a run — useful for batches that thicken or separate at room temperature. That makes it a single station for light mixing, heating and filling rather than three separate steps.
