A humidor keeps cigars at a steady humidity so they smoke the way they left the factory. Ours are cedar-lined humidor cabinets for a bar, lounge, cigar shop or home, from a 40-cigar glass-door case to four-tier cabinets for around 110 cigars, plus a compressor-cooled cabinet that holds cigars and wine side by side.
Most cigars are kept at around 65 to 72 percent relative humidity. The cabinets here come with a humidifier and, on several models, a built-in hygrometer, so the level can be read without opening the door.
Size it to the menu and the restock cycle, not to the full delivery. A bar with a short cigar list runs well on a 40-cigar case; a lounge or a shop selling several brands needs the 110-cigar cabinets, often more than one so the doors open less.
Spanish cedar holds and releases moisture slowly, which steadies the humidity between refills, and it resists the tobacco beetle. It also adds the aroma cigar smokers expect from a humidor.
Yes. The dual-zone cabinet in this collection runs a cigar compartment at 60 to 80 percent humidity and a wine compartment at 5 to 22 °C, each controlled on its own.
